DARRELL PINKSTON

Darrell L. Pinkston, 81, of Harrodsburg, husband of Fanny Jane Curry Pinkston, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.

Born Jan. 29, 1934, in Spring Valley, Mich., he was the son of Dorothy (Berguson) and the late Paul Pinkston.

He was a retired superintendent of the Kentucky State Highway Department.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: five daughters, Sandy (John) Stephens of Russell Springs, Teresa (Ivy) Carter of Fla., Lori (Lee) Hartman of Va., Charlotte (Richard) Reilly of Harrodsburg and Kimberly Johnson of Lawrenceburg; one son, Todd Pinkston of Harrodsburg; one sister, Diana (Bob) Schmidt of Mich.; three brothers, Craig Pinkston of Ga., Donald Pinkston of Tex. and Devron Pinkston of Tex.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
