MELVIN TEWMEY

Melvin Marshall Tewmey, 91, husband of Ruby Rose Robinson Tewmey, died Thursday Dec. 3 at the V. A. Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Jan. 26, 1924, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Anna Lee Peavler Tewmey.

He was a retired truck driver, school bus driver and mechanic, was an army veteran of World War II and a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church. 

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: one daughter, Marsha (Jim) Robinson of Salvisa; one son, Ed (Vicki) Tewmey of Harrodsburg and three grandchildren.
