Jackson County wins Lady Titan Classic
Mercer County senior golfer Tatum Wessling chipped the ball during the Lady Titan Classic Saturday. Wessling finished 18th out of 68 golfers to help the Lady Titans to a fourth-place finish.

The Jackson County girls golf team won the Lady Titan Classic at Danville Country Club Saturday, Oct. 12, shooting a 360 and beating out 12 other teams for the title.
Casey County, Dupont Manual and Mercer County finished out the top-4, respectively.
Scott County’s Mallory Lovell was the individual winner with a 74. Rebekah Upchurch led Mercer County with an 88, good enough for eighth.
Mercer County senior Tatum Wessling finished 18th with a 95. Samantha Myers (105), Kellie Ingram (113) and Emily Bechtel (139) finished out the scoring for the Lady Titans.
