Lady Titans Golf places fifth in Lady Card Invitational

The Mercer County Lady Titans shot a 409 and finished in fifth place at the Nelson County Lady Card Invitational Saturday.

The Lady Titans were led by freshman Rebekah Upchurch who shot a team-low 85, which was good enough for a seventh place tie.

Mercer County head coach Jeremy Brummett said Upchurch’s top-10 finish was even more impressive because she was battling an illness the entire day.
