Lady Titans Down West to Head to District Final

The Mercer County Lady Titans softball team defeated the West Jessamine Lady Colts, 15-0, in the first round of the 46th District Tournament Tuesday night to advance to the final round Wednesday.

After holding the Lady Colts scoreless in the top of the first Mercer County went on a roll.

Kaylee Russell and Kayla Crawley each got one RBI for the Lady Titans in the inning, while Lyric Houston had two RBIs. Mercer County led, 7-0, after one inning.
