Peavler Named to ‘Best of the Bluegrass’ Roster

Mercer County football star Layne Peavler has been named to the ‘Best of the Bluegrass’ football team, which will play Dec. 14 at St. Xavier High School in Louisville.

Peavler, a senior wide receiver and defensive back, leads the Titans with 20 receptions, 386 yards receiving and three touchdown receptions. He also has 88 yards rushing on just 10 carries.

The ‘Best of the Bluegrass’ game, which features some of the best players in the state, will pit high school football players from the Louisville area against high school players from all other areas of the state.
