Mercer Lady Titans Win Final Two Regular Season Matches

The Mercer County Lady Titan volleyball team concluded their regular season with two home matches this week against the Garrard County Lady Golden Lions and the Lincoln County Lady Patriots.

The Lady Titans knew they were in for a test when the Lady Golden Lions came to town Oct. 9.
Mercer County beat Garrard County in a tight match just nine days prior. This match proved to be even tougher.
The Lady Golden Lions jumped out to a quick start and took an early lead on the Lady Titans.
Garrard County got up as much as 17-11 late in the first game, but the Lady Titans refused to go away.
Mercer County got 10 of the next 14 points, behind strong serving from Kennedy Bryant and strong net play from Darby Whalen.
