First Ranked Lady Colts Too Much For Mercer County Lady Titans

The Mercer County Lady Titans had a tough battle this week as they hosted district opponent West Jessamine, Wednesday, Oct. 1.
The Lady Colts, who are currently ranked as the number one team in the state, used two first half goals to lead them to a 3-0 win.
West Jessamine beat Mercer County 5-0 on Sept. 22. Lady Titan Head Coach Tony Brown thought he saw a better effort Wednesday night.
“We might have lost tonight, but we played strong. We’ve trimmed off two goals from our last loss to them, so there is a lot of improvement from our girls,” said Brown after the game.
