Lady Bulldogs Stumped in Opener

Summer Burke led all scorers Tuesday night with 22 points in the Lady Bulldog’s season opener.

A slow start doomed the Lady Bulldogs basketball team Tuesday night in their season opener on the road against the Lady Cats of Lynn Camp High School. 

Burgin turned the ball over eight times in the first quarter as the Lady Cats jumped out to a 14-6 lead. Senior Summer Burke scored all six of Burgin’s points and finished the game leading all scorers with 22 points.
