Mercer Repeats as 46th District Champs

The Mercer County Titans soccer team won their second straight 46th District Championship Thursday night in a rematch of last year’s title game against the Colts of West Jessamine. 

First half injuries to two of Mercer’s offensive starters Mason Angel and Clay Morris hindered the Titans scoring opportunities against the Colts. Still the Titan’s defensive line held strong for all 80 minutes of regulation and 10 minutes of overtime to keep the game scoreless and sending the game into penalty kicks.
