GILBERT HAYSLETT

Gilbert “Don” Hayslett, 68, of Harrodsburg, husband of Donna Patterson Hayslett, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Born Dec. 27, 1944, in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Hallie B. Tatum Hayslett. He was owner and operator of Hayslett Mechanical Contractors for several years, was a 1962 graduate of Harrodsburg High School, attended Campbellsville College and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. He was also a member of the NRA, National Watch and Clock Association, was a Kentucky Colonel and was a former member of the Harrodsburg Jaycee’s.
