Burgin Extends Winning Streak to Seven Games

The Lady Bulldogs volleyball team picked up their seventh consecutive win Thursday night defeating the Lady Rockets of Rockcastle County (8-16), 3-0. Burgin hasn’t dropped a game during their streak, winning 17 games in a row. 

After winning the opening game of Thursday’s match, 25-22, the Lady Bulldogs fell behind early in game two trailing, 6-2. Burgin fought back to take a 7-6 lead on a Savannah Caldwell ace but the score remained level at 10-all midway through the game.
