OATNEY WELLS

Oatney Drury Wells, 91, widow of H.C. Wells,  died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. 

Born June 9, 1922 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late T.E. and Victoria Dennis Drury.she was a homemaker and worked for nine years in the Kentucky Historical Society gift shop in Frankfort.  She was a member and served in the W.M.U. of the Kirkwood Baptist Church.  She also served on the Anderson County Burgoo Festival Committee.
