Mercer Girls Soccer Shutout By Lady Bears

After tying the Lady Warriors of Southwestern High School (8-3-1) Thursday night 2-2, who hold the 12th Region’s third best record, the Mercer County girl’s soccer team tried to defend their home turf Monday night against the 8th Region’s top seeded Lady Bears of Spencer County (12-3-1) who entered the game on a five game winning streak.

While it was the Lady Titans who won the opening kick, it was Spencer County who dominated possession early taking three shots in the opening six minutes of play.
