CARROLL SANFORD

Born July 23, 1929, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Henry Taylor and Gertrude Baxter Sanford.  He was retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation, was a former owner/operator of a grocery in Salvisa, a self-employed milk hauler and an active member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a deacon and within many church ministries, including HBC Prison Ministry.  He was a former Shriner and member of the Slavisa Ruritan Club.
