Titans Topple West 33-20

The Mercer County Titans improved to 3-0 Friday night for the first time since their Class AA Championship season in 2006, defeating the West Jessamine Colts (1-2), 33-20.

West Jessamine opened the game with a scoring drive that started at their own 34-yard-line and was capped off by a three yard touchdown run by Devin Taylor leading to a Colt’s 7-0 lead with 8:01 left in the first quarter. Taylor ended the game with 234 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
