Mercer Takes Second at LBC

The Lady Titans (4-3-1) girls’ soccer team finished 2-1 in the Lady Bulldog Classic held at John Hardin High School over the weekend, finishing second behind tournament winners Thomas Nelson.

Mercer opened the tournament Saturday with a 4-1 win over the Corbin Lady Redhounds (3-6). Fatigue became a factor in the Lady Titans second game of the day against the Generals of Thomas Nelson (8-1) who were able to extend their six game winning streak to seven by defeating Mercer, 3-1.
