ARAH SANFORD

Sarah Jordan Sanford, 88, Salvisa, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. 

Born in Ford, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and the late Alice Davis Farthing Jordan.  She was a member of the Salvisa Christian Church, a retired employee of the State Revenue Department and an Avon representative for several years. 

She is survived by a daughter,  Anne Jordan (Houston) Burkehead of Spencer County; one son,  Eddie (Teressa) Sanford of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren,  Rebecca Gordon, John Burkhead, Sarah Curtsinger, Shirley Sanford and Jim Sanford; nine great-grandchildren.
