After having four different coaches over a four season span, the Mercer County Football program is enjoying something it hasn’t had in a while, consistency.

In his first season with the Titans, Head Coach Chris Pardue lead Mercer to a 6-4 regular season record before being knocked out in the first round of the Class 4A State Tournament by Knox Central (10-2), 41-20. It was the team’s first winning season since 2006 when they went a perfect 15-0 on their way to the 2A State Championship.
