Mercer 9&10U All-Stars Split State Openers

The Mercer County 9 and 10U All-Star team split their opening games of pool play in the Little League State Tournament with a record of 1-1. 

Mercer opened the tournament Saturday against Paintsville who were coached by former major leaguer Johnnie LeMaster who played shortstop professionally for 12 years including 10 with the San Francisco Giants.
