Mother Daughter Hold Annual Scramble

The Relay for Life golf scramble held at Brightleaf Golf Resort raised over $2,500 for cancer research.
In the summer of 2011, after having her mother diagnosed with breast cancer, Nina Robinson formed the first Relay for Life golf scramble in Harrodsburg to help raise money for cancer research. This Saturday, July 14, Robinson and Brightleaf Golf Resort will host the event for the third straight year.
“I’ve been so lucky over the past two years to get such a positive response from people and companies in the community wanting to support the Relay for Life and this scramble,” said Robinson. “We were able to raise over $2,500 at last year’s event, and we are just hoping that number will continue to grow this year.”
