 For Harrodsburg High School and University of Kentucky football standouts Dennis and Derrick Johnson making flashy plays, be it a sack, forced fumble or blocked field goal was all in a game’s work. While the end result got the attention it was the brother’s attention to fundamentals taught to them by their father Alvis Johnson, that led to their success on the field. 

“A foundation built on fundamentals is one thing that my father always instilled in my and my brother and always served us well throughout our careers,” said Dennis Johnson. “That way no matter what type of coach you play for or what type of system you play in you can still be successful.”
