Titans Rally in State Semi-finals Win

The Mercer County Titans baseball team advanced to the Forcht Bank KHSAA State Championship for the second time in three years Friday night by defeating the Colonels of Henderson County, 7-2.

Henderson County took a 1-0 lead in the opening inning as Mercer starting pitcher J.T. Long gave up one run on three hits. Long finished the game going all seven innings and giving up two runs on two hits while striking out six earning the win.
