Cocanougher Sets Corvette Drag Racing World Records

Jared Cocanougher stands with the Corvette he drove in the drag races while earning his two records.

Jared Cocanougher, owner of Race Proven Performance, recently set two world records during a drag racing event held in Albany, Ind. Cocanougher now holds the records for the Fastest Naturally Aspirated C6 Z06 Corvette in 1/4 mile and the Fastest Six Speed Manual Corvette for his performance at the Muncie Dragway on May 2.
Cocanougher’s time of 9.86 at 140.9 MPH earned him the record for the Fastest Naturally Aspirated C6 Z06 Corvette in 1/4 mile.
