Burgin Students Win State Track Titles

Members of the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs track teams competed in the 2013 Kentucky High School Athletic Association state track meet Saturday at the University of Louisville. While making the state meet is an accomplishment in itself, Liz Marcinek proved she had no equal in the state by winning the school’s first state championship in the long jump event. She also won a fifth place medal in the 100 meter dash and a seventh place medal in the triple jump.
