Titans Place 2nd in Region
The Mercer County boy’s track team fell just three points shy of the hosting Boyle County Rebels Saturday in the Class AA Region 5 meet. The Rebels won the meet with 119 points, just beating out Mercer who finished in second with 116 points followed by Madison Southern in third with 81 points.
The Lady Rebels also took home a championship with 156 points beating out second place Madison Southern who finished with 90 points and third place Rockcastle who had 67 points. The Lady Titans finished seventh overall with 30 points.
