Lady Titans Upset East Jessamine

After losing in their first game in six innings, 13-3, the Lady Titans Softball team (10-11) got revenge  pulling off the upset Thursday night against the 46th District’s No. 1 seeded Lady Jaguars of East Jessamine (17-9), 7-3.

Mercer pitcher Megan Hilbert got the win going all seven innings, giving up three runs on seven hits, one walk and two beaned batters while striking out six batters. 

Hilbert also sparked the Lady Titans offense which scored four runs in the opening inning.
