RICHARD SHEEGOG

James Richard Sheegog, 59, of Goodlettsville, Tenn., formerly of Harrodsburg,  husband of Marcia Bowling Sheegog, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013. 

Born Jan. 27, 1954 he was the son of the late Robert William and Gertrude Parson Sheegog. He graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1972, where he received all-state honors for football in 1971. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 until 1977 as a training technician and a morse code systems operator. He was a retired self-employed courier.
