Titans Get Back at Jaguars, 5-2

The Mercer County baseball team (13-5) moved into first place in the 46th District Tuesday night defeating East Jessamine (13-4) on the road, 5-2.

The Jaguars defeated Mercer in their first meeting this season 9-3, but were unable to defend their home turf falling to 2-2 in district play. The Titans improved to 2-1 in district play with a game left to play against Burgin (0-5) and West Jessamine (12-6).
