Burgin Girls Fall to Danville, 19-7

Despite jumping out to a 6-2 lead over the visiting Lady Admirals (4-12) Monday, the Burgin softball team was unable to hold on, falling to Danville in five innings, 19-7.

Lady Bulldog’s starting pitcher Elizabeth Adams gave up two runs to open the game, but the Lady Bulldogs answered with five runs to lead after one inning, 5-2.
