Lady Generals Get the Better of Burgin

Despite scoring eight runs in the opening inning, the Lady Bulldogs were unable to translate their hot start into a win Monday night as the Lady Generals of Thomas Nelson (1-8) got their first win of the season, 23-14.

Thomas Nelson put up four runs to open the game, but Burgin answered with eight runs of their own in the bottom of the inning taking an 8-4 lead. 

The Lady Generals added 10 more runs in the second inning, reclaiming a six run lead, 14-8.
