Robert Turner Sr.

Robert Reed Turner Sr., 84, husband of Phyllis Ann Russell Turner, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his residence.  

Born March 14, 1929 in Danville, he was the son of the late Ernest and Bertha Carter Turner.  He was retired from Matshusita and a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church.  

Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Robert (Julie) Turner Jr. of Salvisa; three daughters, Rita Turner, Connie (Billy) Peach and Patricia “Chris” (Tony) Dunning, all of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Ruth Brown of Burgin, Helen Miller of Richmond and Mary Hannah Diluzio of New Jersey;  six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
