Buel Pitman

Buel Thomas Pitman, 88, husband of Rebecca Hurst Pitman, of Danville, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington.  

He was a retired auto mechanic for Pitman’s Auto Repair, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter,  Linda (Allen) Matsushima of California; one step-son,  Robert Ayers; two step-daughters, Kimberly (Mike) Murphy of Georgia and Lindsey Luker of Lexington; eight grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
