Betty Jean Royalty

Betty Jean Royalty, 68, wife of G.B. “Boo” Royalty, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.  

Born Aug. 12, 1944 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Willie and Dorothy Jean King Bell. She was a retired food service employee of the Mercer County School System and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband include  one son,  Glen C. Royalty of Atwood, Okla.; two daughters,  Sherry Curtsinger and Angela (Darrell) Robinson, both of Harrodsburg; six brothers, Charles (Marge) Bell of Arizona, Robert Bell, Howard Bell, Ricky Bell, Paul Huff and Gary Huff, all of Somerset;  three sisters,  Lena Royalty, Linda (David) Cummins and Birtie (Bruce) Sanders, all of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
