Robert Stinnett

Robert Wayne “Bobby” Stinnett, 64, of Garrard County, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Louisville.  

Born Aug. 7, 1948 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late James Corbett and Mattie Upton Stinnett.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War.  His was a XPedx Forklift Operator in the shipping and receiving department.

Survivors include two sons,  David Wayne Stinnett of Harriman, Tenn. and James Gentry Stinnett, an active duty Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan; one daughter,  Tammy Leigh Willoughby of Millersburg; his former wife, Cathy Lee; two brothers,  James B. Stinnett of Harrodsburg and Larry Russell Stinnett of Stanford; two sisters,  Mary Francis Major of Beuna Vista and Rebecca Ann Smith of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
