Mercer Track Sees Distance as Key to Success

When most people think of being successful at track, they think of short distance sprinters like Usain Bolt.
For the Mercer County Titans and Lady Titans track team, success will depend much more on the long distance races that combine speed and endurance.
“The strength of this year’s team is going to be with our distance runners and distance relay teams,” said Mercer Head Boys Track Coach Bill Smith.
