Elsie Gritton

Elsie Currens Robinson Gritton, 89, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Harold Robinson and William M. “Willie” Gritton, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. 

Born in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Mary Holman Currens. She was retired from the Wild Turkey Distillery and was a member of the Claylick United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include a son, Ricky (Brenda) Robinson of Lawrenceburg; two step children, Billy Mac (Lesa) Gritton of Mercer County and Lisa (John) Klingenfus of Forest, VA.; a grandson, Grant  Robinson, S.C.; step grandchildren, Sarah Gritton, Mercer County, Brian Klingenfus, and Kelli Klingenfus, both of Forest, Va.; a sister, Dorothy Freeman, and a brother, Curtis (Sonya) Currens, both of Salvisa; one step great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
