Christine Lewis

Christine Jenkins Lewis, 80, of Harrodsburg, formerly of Willisburg, widow of Eugene Jenkins and Ancil Lewis, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Kindred Nursing and Rehab Center in Harrodsburg.

Born April 17, 1932 in Nelson County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Bertha Case Brothers. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at Tatham Springs and a homemaker.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Mike) Carrier and Linda (Freddie) Bottoms of Mackville; one son, Dennis Ray (Dee Dawn) Jenkins of Harrodsburg; and a sister, Sally Ehlers of Bardstown; a step-son, Ralph (Mae) Lewis of Willisburg; three stepdaughters, Helen (Jim) Byrd of Louisville, Calline (Cliff) Kidwell and Bonnie (Freddy) Carter of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren.
