Mason Dixon State Meet

The Mercer County and Burgin High School track teams were each in contention over the weekend at the Mason Dixon Games indoor state track and field meet held at Broadbent Arena in Louisville.

The St. Henry school district women’s and men’s teams won the Class A championship with 93 and 75.33 respectfully. Bishop Brossart’s men’s and women’s team each took second with 59 and 67 points respectfully. Third place in the women’s Class A went to Fairview High School with 59 points, while Newport Central Catholic took third in the boy’s division with 51.33.

The Lady Bulldogs finished 19th out of 20 teams with two points and the Bulldogs placed 18th out of 26 teams with 7 points.
