Raymond Watts

Raymond Thomas Watts, 79, of Harrodsburg, husband of Doris Jean Carey Watts, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 20, 1933 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of the late Raymond Thomas and Stella Maddox Watts Sr.  He served in the Air Force during the Korean war and was a retired Corning Glass employee  and a former Shelter Insurance owner-agent.  He was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and had been a long time member of Bruner’s Chapel, where he served as a deacon. He was also a former Lay Minister and Gideon.  

Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Debra Watts of Harrodsburg and Teresa (Steve) Gash of Harrodsburg;  two sisters, Mary Baker and Beverly Griffin, both of Harrodsburg; one brother, Kenneth Watts of Florida, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
