William Claunch

William Carrolton Claunch, 74,  husband of Margaret Barnes Claunch of Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at his residence.  

Born Sept. 10, 1938 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Albert Tink and Della Hungate Claunch.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Berea Christian Church. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Denzil Carrolton Claunch of Harrodsburg and John Marvin Claunch of Harrodsburg; one daughter, Carol Matney of Lexington; three brothers,  Jimmy Claunch of Harrodsburg, Joe Claunch of Cornishville and Jack (Charlene) Claunch of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Betty (Jerry) Goodlett of Mackville and Beckey (Billy) Cameron of Carlisle; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
