Hazel Stakelin

Hazel Stakelin, 71, of Harrodsburg, widow of William Luther Stakelin, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 in Lexington. 

Born Jan. 19, 1942 in Lewisburg, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Lyndol and Thelma Brown Doggett. She was a retired apartment manager and a member of the Ostella Church of Christ in Cornersville, Tenn.  

Survivors include three daughters, Sharon Collins Norris of Tennessee, Janice (Danny Yates) Neal of Mackville and Lou Ann (Chris) Watts of Stanford; three step sons, Steve (Debbie) Stakelin of Lexington, Lewis (Patsy) Stakelin of Florida and Tommy Stakelin of Georgetown; seven grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 23 step great-grandchildren, one step great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
