Wallace Carrier

Wallace Haynes Carrier, 95,  husband of Anne Galloway Carrier, died Friday,  Jan. 18, 2013.

Born June 12, 1917 in Bristol, Tenn., he was the son of the late Walter F. and Belle Wassom Carrier.  He was a graduate of Bristol High School, Carson-Newman College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary of  Louisville. He worked 51 years in the Baptist faith. He was pastor of First Baptist Church of Hartsville, Tenn.; First Baptist Church of  Rockwood, Tenn.; Harrodsburg Baptist Church and Mill Creek Baptist Church of Nashville, Tenn. He also served as a design editor of adult Bible study materials at the Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville, Tenn.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Wallace H. (Bonny) Carrier, Jr. of Franklin; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.
