Geraldine Peyton

Geraldine Baxter Peyton, 75, widow of Ralph Peyton, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at her residence.  

Born in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Homer Francis and Emma Drury Baxter. She was a retired secretary with Kentucky Overall in Lawrenceburg and a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday school class.  

She is survived by a son, Brian Keith Peyton (Holly Stratton) of Lawrenceburg, a half sister, Carol Ann (Jimmy) Pinkston of Mercer County, three half brothers, Billy (Doris) Sanford of Mercer County, Darrell (Sue) Sanford of Nicholasville, and Gary (Kathy) Sanford of Mercer County; a step-sister, Ida Rose Bottoms of Bardstown, a half-brother Harold (Ann) Sanford of Texas; one grandchild and a niece.
