Lorraine Mayes

Loraine S. Mayes, 91, of Harrodsburg,  widow of Virgil Mayes, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born March 6, 1921 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late V.E. ‘Buddy’ and Carrie Elizabeth McGinnis Sims. She was a retired Cudahay employee.

Survivors include her friend and caretaker, Eloise Mayes; one great-grandson, William M. Mayes and several nieces and nephews.
