Mildred Arens

Mildred Ellers Arens, 87, widow of Gregor Martin Arens Jr., died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at her residence.  

Born March 2, 1925 in Cynthiana, she was the daughter of the late George Whitcomb and Mildred Caress Ellers. She was a retired Henry Clay High School teacher and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. 

Survivors include one son,  Gregor Martin “Skip” Arens III of Lexington; two daughters,  Ann Crawley of Harrodsburg and Ellen Provost of Satellite Beach, Fla.; one brother,  John Ellers of Indiana; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
