Joe Thurman

Joe Thurman, 72, of Harrodsburg, husband of Lyla Wayne Thurman, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 30, 1940 in Bradfordsville, she was the daughter of the late Sam J. and Ivana “Tuff” Ewing Thurman. He was a retired Monumental Insurance agent.

Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Samuel Wayne Thurman of Lawrenceburg and a brother, John Thurman of Harrodsburg.
