Bearl Roy

Bearl Donald “Stoney” Roy, 60, of Hustonville, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born Aug. 20, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Donald and Rose Osborne Roy.   He was a Vietnam War veteran, a retired boiler maker and a self-employed logger.

Survivors include  four daughters, Cayce Thomas of Pensacola, Fla., Sara McLaughlin of Fishers, Ind., Nicole Joseph of Harrodsburg and Natasha Walls of Waynesburg; one son, Benjamin Roy of Hustonville; three sisters, Ruby Ingram of Eubank, Maxine McWhorter and Tilly Chenault of Danville and six grandchildren.
