Dorothy Vinyard

Dorothy M. Brooks Vinyard, 77, wife of Walter Glenn Vinyard Sr., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.  

Born May 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Mary Burton Brooks.  She was retired from Friendship Nursing Home and attended Southern Avenue Baptist Church.  

Survivors in addition to her husband include three sons, Walter Glenn (Sharon) Vinyard, Jr., Ernest (Debbie) Vinyard and William Edward (Phyllis) Vinyard; a brother, Jimmy Brooks; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
