Dovie Joseph

Dovie Eldridge Shepherd Joseph, 83, widow of Robert Shepherd and Linvel Joseph, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  

Born Aug. 26, 1929 in Leslie County, she was the daughter of the late Hizzie and Mary Wells Eldridge.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ. 

Survivors include two sons, Arnold (Karen) Baker of Harrodsburg and Christopher Scott Bowers of Mercer County;  two sisters, Lucille Eldridge of Ohio and Shirley Kintner of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
